Sunny (Aaron Kwok) is a loser, a down-on-his-luck performer in a circus where everyone hates him. When the circus troupe drags him on a hiking trip into the mountains, Sunny is forced to explore a peculiar cave rumoured to be filled with deadly traps and mountains of gold! When Sunny finds crates filled with strange capsules the group compels him to open them, unwittingly unleashing an experimental gas that gives them all superhuman powers. Returning to the city, the now super-powered troupe runs riot and only Sunny stands between them and total anarchy.
