Last week was Mental As Anything. Did you get that vibe from the tsunami of sale emails and excitable event reminders from us?!

It was our birthday week y’see. 48 years in business! And five years of trading online. To celebrate, we went nuts with bargains here on the website for five days in a row, ending it all with a pop-up vinyl sale at The Jade in Adelaide. 

The sale at the Jade was a total blast! You guys are just as excellent in real life as online, and we coulda stood around Talking Heads with you all day.

Hoards of people came. Hoards I tell you! We *may* have been a few minutes late opening the doors, and when we did, the deluge of bodies was unreal - and unexpected! There are LOTS of vinyl lovers in Adelaide, apparently.

Someone picked up virtually the whole 'K' section, and bought the lot!

Others took their time browsing and came away with an impressive haul.

One absolute legend called Gavin traveled 3 hours to come see us. That's dedication! Here’s a piccy of what he took away:

A huge shout out to The Jade for providing such a luscious event space. It’s one of those garden bars that makes you want to lounge all afternoon in loafers at a 150 degree angle, sipping Pimms and spinning Fleet Foxes (which is kinda what went down).

Phat Buddha Rolls gave our bellies love with their Cambodian fusion food to restore weary record hunters. Delicious. Thank you so much guys!

And finally, thank YOU for helping us make it a killer birthday week! Hope it was as good for you as it was for us.
