Something a little different from Criterion - a four DVD set with four 50's films from producers Richard and Alex Gordon, subtitled 'Four Chilling Tales of Inner Torment and Outer Space.' None of the four films, 'The Atomic Submarine,' 'First Man Into Space,' 'The Haunted Strangler,' and 'Corridors Of Blood,' are traditional 'classics,' but instead could be considered 'genre' classics and will appeal to the crowd that collects the Hammer films and other lost films of the 50's. Take it on faith that Criterion wouldn't release these without a known market, and they have probably added bonus features to enhance the value.
