Between 2006 and 2013, the Miami Heat won an incredible three Championship titles; their first, with a team based upon the power of centre Shaquille O'Neal and the ability of young guard Dwyane Wade. Over the following six years the Heat amassed an impressive roster featuring the Big 3 of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James. Having lost the in the Championship finals in 2011, this All-Star combination would lead the Heat to successive back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

Who could forget Miami Heat's first NBA Championship season when, with O'Neal and Wade suffering significant injuries through the regular season, the return of both would herald a late charge through the play-offs to face Dallas Mavericks in the Championship and, having lost the first two games of the series, the Heat would ultimately prevail and clinch a historic victory in game six. Or when, on the back of losing the 2011 Championship final to Dallas, the Heat of 2012 were taken to seven games in the Conference Final by the Boston Celtics before defeating Oklahoma City Thunder in 1 the Championship Final. Experience again the excitement of 2013 when the Heat were required to battle through the close-season, defeating Indiana in seven games in the Conference Finals then facing the San Antonio in another gruelling seven game series to decide the Championship; LeBron James marking his mark by being named finals MVP for the second successive year.
